Marian Beke, born in Slovakia, moved to London 20 years ago to immerse himself in cocktail culture. He worked at renowned venues such as Montgomery Place, Artesian Bar, and Purl before becoming bar manager at Nightjar for five years. Eight years ago, he opened his own bar, The Gibson, which was awarded Best European Bar and ranked sixth in The World’s 50 Best Bars. For over 15 years, he has been a consultant, educator, and guest bartender worldwide. He has also launched several brands, including Electric Bitters, Electric Liqueur, and Copperhead Gibson Edition gin.
