On June 14, 2025, the Basketball Court project was inaugurated at Parco Caduti del Mare (Garbatella, Rome), promoted by Roma Bar Show with the support of JD Sports Italia, the VIII Municipio, and the Department of Major Events of Roma Capitale. The initiative redeveloped an abandoned basketball court, providing it with new flooring, improved structures, and a large street art piece created by Camilla Falsini. The goal is to create a place of gathering, sport, and social life for young people and local residents. The project represents a tangible legacy left by Roma Bar Show to the city, going beyond its nature as a trade fair event. It is presented as an example of collaboration between public and private sectors, with sport and art as tools for inclusion, urban regeneration, and active citizenship.
The area will be managed through sports activities, workshops, meetings with schools and local organizations, in order to ensure a lasting impact on the community. A commemorative plaque will honor the joint work of the institutions and sponsors involved.
